AI Governance Implementation WG
This WG continues to host the "AI Governance Study Group," where members exchange information on AI risks and AI Governance and receive cutting-edge insights from domestic and international experts; it also consolidates key insights gained. The WG also continues to host the "AI Governance Commons," a venue where a relatively small group of member companies introduce the details of their own initiatives to one another and exchange information based on mutual disclosure — promoting AI Governance implementation at each company while shaping shared expectations across industry.

AI Governance Navi Sub-WG
This Sub-WG operates and updates "AI Governance Navi" — the self-assessment tool for companies' AI Governance implementation, officially launched in April 2025 — incorporating member feedback and aligning the tool with policy trends and technology developments to keep it relevant and useful for society.

Action Agenda WG
This WG conducts timely reviews of the "AI Governance Action Agenda" — formulated in February 2024 — in light of changes in technology and institutional frameworks, ensuring that the Action Agenda remains responsive to the most current societal expectations. The WG also operates the "AI Governance Navi" self-assessment tool — building on the beta version released in October 2024, gathering feedback, and working toward the development and continuous operation of an official version.

Policy Proposal WG
As new policies, guidelines, and regulations are developed against the backdrop of the generative AI boom, this WG consolidates and organizes members' views, formulates policy proposals, and communicates them through public comments and other channels — contributing to the implementation of AI-related policies in Japan that strike the right balance between innovation and governance.

Certification & Standards WG
This WG examines mechanisms — such as third-party certification schemes — that objectively visualize and demonstrate corporate AI Governance. It consolidates members' views, examines the appropriate institutional frameworks and certification standards, engages with the government and other stakeholders, and works toward implementation of such schemes.
